How do I get my book into print?
Over the years we have printed a vast variety of books, from Cookery Books to Life stories, Autobiographies to Travel Guides, Fiction and Non-Fiction and everything in between.
From Idea to Artwork?
What ever the end product all books start with an idea. We can work with a large number of files and details of them can be found here. We do not expect you to understand all of the technical print jargon. Instead we will work with your files and help turn them into print ready files. In the event we require any further input from you we will contact you and explain what is happening and exactly what we need from you. The majority of the time we keep the process hassle free, if however you would like to get involved and do some of the work yourself more details on the entire artwork process can be found here.
Binding?
There are many kinds of binding available but the majority of short run books are perfect bound (paperback). This is done entirely in house to ensure that we have total control. We can offer many other types of binding and these are available on request. More information them can be found here.
Black and White or Colour?
It may be you would like a Black and White book, a Full Colour book or a mixture of both. Our short run digital print technology enables us to print as little as 1 book should you require.
Size of the Book?
Many books are produced A5 or A4 size. You are however not restricted to this size and are free to work to custom sizes of your own.
Quotation
In order for us to give you a quote we will need to know the following information.
- How many copies you would like
- Number of pages
- The size of the book
- Black and White, Colour or mix of both
